EventsMaze operates as an informational directory and discovery intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. Our platform helps users discover city events, concerts, festivals, and local shopkeeper discount offers. We do not organize events, we do not operate retail stores, and we do not handle any payments or ticket bookings.

2. Information We Collect

a) Automatically Processed Device Information

• Device model and operating system version (iOS / Android)
• Browser type and technical access timestamps
• Aggregated performance and app stability analytics

b) Direct Communications (If You Contact Us)

• Sender Name / Contact details provided via WhatsApp or Email
• Event details, posters, shop offers, and messages sent for listing requests

We do not collect or store sensitive personal information such as Aadhaar, PAN, banking credentials, or credit card details.

3. How We Use Information & Purpose Limitation

• Enable real-time discovery of nearby events and shopkeeper discounts
• Maintain platform security, stability, and bug resolution
• Respond to organizer and merchant listing requests via WhatsApp / Email
• Comply with applicable legal and statutory requirements

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we strictly adhere to purpose limitation. We do never sell, rent, or trade your personal or location data to third-party ad brokers.

4. Third-Party Content & Discount Offer Disclaimer

All event schedules, venue details, promotional posters, and shopkeeper discount offers (including sales, 50% off deals, and dining offers) are submitted directly by third-party organizers, merchants, or compiled from publicly accessible notices.

• No Commercial Warranty: EventsMaze does not guarantee or warrant the accuracy, pricing, validity, or fulfillment of any merchant discount, sale, or event schedule.
• Independent Verification: Users are advised to verify timings, availability, and discount terms directly with the respective merchant or event organizer before visiting.
• Merchant Responsibility: Fulfilling discounts and honoring posted promotions remains the sole responsibility of the respective merchant or store owner under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

5. Third-Party Links & External Platforms

Our platform may contain links or redirects to third-party services, maps, or store locations. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

6. Data Security & Retention

We maintain industry-standard administrative and technical safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access. Since EventsMaze operates on a zero-account model for general users, no persistent user profiles or personal tracking databases are maintained.

7. Real-Time Location Permission

Our mobile application may request access to your device location to calculate proximity and show events and shop offers near you or a selected city.

• Optional Permission: Location access is used only after your device-level permission.
• No Permanent Location Storage: Location coordinates are processed temporarily for proximity calculations and are not stored in our permanent databases.
• Manual City Selection: You can explore events and offers by manually selecting a city without granting location access.
• No Background Tracking: We do not continuously track your location in the background or create location-based behavioral profiles.
• No Sale of Location Data: We do not sell or share location coordinates with advertising networks.

8. Prohibited Listings & Public Order

EventsMaze prohibits listings relating to:

• Illegal gambling, betting, or wagering.
• Unlicensed liquor or prohibited-substance promotions.
• Fraudulent, deceptive, or counterfeit activities.
• Content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates applicable laws, public order, or decency.

9. Notice & Takedown Mechanism

If you believe an event, offer, image, or other listing on EventsMaze is unauthorized, infringing, unlawful, or otherwise violates applicable law, please contact our Grievance Officer at info@eventsmaze.com with the listing details and supporting information.

We will acknowledge the complaint within 24 hours and address it within the applicable statutory timeframe.

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
